hi port forwarded my port. but!!

port forwarded my port but my server doesnt work..do i gonna use the ip on : www.whatismyip.com???but its not responding.noone can join.
i have deticated server prog.
what to do???????

Well, whoever uses your server outside your network, like friends, you would give them the ip located at http://ip.gstutor.com. For you to connect to your own server, you'll have to connect via your local ip. To do this, on the computer that is hosting the server, click start, run, type cmd and hit enter. Next, in the command type ipconfig. Your local ip will be next to ip address, usually (not always) its 192.168.x.x. Don't forget to add the :27015 to the end of the ip!
