I believe you need to contact the company you would like to purchase from and make an appointment with them.

In the United States, a T1 connection usually ranges from $600 to $800 a month.
In Canada, it's about one grand a month.

It's not cheap, that's only one thing that I can affirm.

Not exactly... Nobody has T1 at home. There's no need for it and you couldn't justiffy it. T1 is mostly used by businesses and it's very popular for telecommunications and teleconferencing.

I was wondering roughly how many servers can you host on a T1 connection?

That depends on how many players you want each server to have.

Not a lot. T1 is 1.5mbit.
You can do the math yourself.
I would expect either one 32 server or probably 50 or so slots in total maximum.

I'm not sure of the cost of a T1, but i'm assuming it is quite much.

It would probably cheaper, and more efficient to rent a server from a game host. Unless of course you already have a T1, but if you have cable or dsl and are upgrading just for a server, I don't think it is worth it.

Or am I wrong?

Hmm my upload speed is only half of T1 700KB/s :D Do you think T1 is just way too over priced?

Your company probably has dual or more T1 lines. Or heck, maybe a T3 line.

A T1 line is 1.5mbit symmetrical.
1.5mbit is about 200KB/s

Normally, a T1 line gets 200KB/s up and down.
