I use Mcafee and it's incredible! however, you can get free ones like I think windows is Zone Alarm? It works good from what I've heard

I also think both norton security is good and zone alarm, but according to PC World magazine tests, they said that the best anti-spyware scanner was Sunbelt Software CounterSpy 1.0 which is 20 bux i think i'm gonna get it soon, but unfortunitly in that magazine norton wasnt in it, mcafee was and they scored one of the least

This is also a matter of personnal preference. Some people trust one firm, while other trust another.

I personnaly don't need an Anti-Virus. I know that I would go download some untrusted program from a weird website.

However, I do use Norton antivirus as I got it for free with my computers.

So, any antivirus will do good if it's used with logic.

I use the AVG Free Edition from Grisoft. It works really good, it has an active shield and a virus scan that works great. I recommend it.

I don't know about AVG, I used to use it and it didn't catch a lot of **** I had on my computer like NAV did.

Rofl, norton and McAfee are not good partners, ecspesially if their both like month subscriptions or something... I use Norton Internet Security, Nortion Anti-Virus and Zone Alarm pro which is sexy.

I use norton anti-virus, but mcafee is a little better and complicated(maybe) than norton.

when pc world magazine purposely put on adware/spyware mcafee was only able to catch 33% of the stuff, webroot came in secound and i'm dissappointed that norton wasnt one of the test programs

cuz norton is not that much of a spyware protection, even if it does scan some of it.

i meant norton security

i meant norton security

That's still not spyware protection... It just adds a few extra restrictions to Internet Explorer.

I have never tried two firewalls because AVG works great! But, why not get a program that specializes with spyware protection?

Paulius

why not use download both of them. i saw in paulius vedios that he used both zonealarm and nortan

ZoneAlarm is a firewall

Norton Antivirus is an antivirus

Don't use two firewalls.
