I'm done my server and can't join. [Archive]

Hey,

I think the title said enough, but just to make it clear, I have all my mods, I have all my stuff completed, I just can't go into my own server... it says it wants me to log on again and then it freezes when I try to and when I had no router on, and was directly pluged into the modem, I couldn't even join the server and see the load bar.. What do I do?

are you trying to join the server from a different computer useing ur external ip?

Sober, I had the same problem. Heres how to get into your own server:
Go to run
Type "cmd" or "command" (withought the quotes)
when the black console comes up, type "ipconfig" (without the quotes)
The IP address that comes up is the one that you should connect to.

im not 100 procent sure but dont you also have to add :27015 off course only if thats your port??? really sorry for confusing if it isnt right
