Hi all, I am looking for some recomendations on which sound card to buy for Condition Zero. (I need a new one pretty badly...) Please make your recomendation under $35. Also, it would be nice to get a sound card that has good microphone quality. Please post your recomendations here!:)

Any good cards. Just onboard cards aren't good.
You also need a good microphone.

Yup. Go with logitech.
In fact, they even have a headset for $70 which includes a sound card into the headset! You just plug in into USB and the new soundcard appears. It sounds very well and go with it if you don't need speaker support.

I think u can, u can make it so that its your recording software and have it playback in your speakers, control panel->sounds

Just tested it, yup, u can use the speakers from your computer and the microphone from your headset and here is how:
Go to start->control panel->double click sounds and audio devices->click the audio tab at the top->for sound playback, choose what your computer normaly uses (not the Logitech USB Headset)->next make sure your sound recording option is Logitech USB Handset->click apply and ok and now you have the sounds coming out of your computer speakers and the microphone from your Logitech USB Headset...Enjoy:)
