Mr.G Fizzle

Hey, I'm having trouble using my cell phone in the 3G network. First, i was having trouble installing my drivers, my computer would always freeze. I finally found a CQX driver that worked. Unfortunitly, in my device manager, its in Ports as USB Virtual Serial Port (COM3). So, its not a modem. But, its wierd, because, when I used AOL (i have aol and optimum online), It actually was able to pick up that it was a modem. I was able to connect to AOL just fine, although 14.4 kbps isn't my style. So, when i try to make a connection so i can access 3G networks (which are near DSL speeds), It doesn't pick up that the USB Virtual Serial Port is a modem. There is no place for me to change the port number on the settings. I must figure out a way to make USB Virtual Serial Port in the modems part, because, my TOSHIBA Software Modem, comes up fine if i have it enabled. Any help is appreciated!
EDIT: AOL recognizes it as Standard (hayes Compatible) on COM1, i dont know if that helps but...
